XY is XY Finance’s native utility and governance token. The token has several current and planned functions, including staking incentives, liquidity mining, and governance. XY token holders can stake their tokens on the protocol to boost rewards on provided liquidity by up to 2.5 times. They will also receive a portion of the revenue generated by the protocol. Liquidity providers can stake their assets into the Y Pool to receive xyTokens, such as xyUSDT, and also earn swap fees. Furthermore, liquidity providers will be eligible to receive XY tokens through a liquidity mining program, adjusted based on a user’s relative contribution and additional parameters. Finally, XY token holders can participate and vote in the governance process of the platform, influencing and modifying product features and key parameters of XY Finance.

When it comes to the maximum supply possible, XY Finance's supply cannot exceed 100 million. The protocol currently has a circulating supply of over 4.12 million tokens, with the initial supply of XY being 4.12 million launched on the IDO on Copper Launch. XY Finance is the brainchild of Wilson Huang, who has extensive and solid experience in programming and the crypto industry. Wilson has been involved in Bitcoin since early 2014 and worked with the Ethereum Foundation in certain projects.
