Voice Token (VOICE) is a cryptocurrency built on the Ethereum network and powered by the Mute ecosystem. It was previously known as NIX Bridge Token (NBT), which has been renamed VOICE. The token operates under the standards of the ERC-20 token and aims to provide a more accessible cryptocurrency and DeFi trading market for its users.

Mute is an Automated Market Maker (AMM) exchange and a yield farming platform that utilizes Zero-Knowledge Rollups (ZK-Rollups) to process multiple transfers off the main blockchain. With the Mute platform, users can privately trade, manage, and track their assets and VOICE tokens in the crypto market without paying high gas fees. The platform's main goal is to make cryptocurrency more accessible and user-friendly for its customers.

In addition, the Mute platform has plans to launch Voice control, an innovative governance DaApp that upgrades the entire Mute ecosystem. The Voice governance system is community-driven and aims to include features such as the ability to vote with any amount of VOICE tokens, the possibility to delegate votes to other users, a minimum of 500 VOICE tokens required to submit a proposal, and a twenty percent supply quorum with over fifty percent approval needed to pass a proposal.

The Mute platform operates under a community-governed DAO structure with two tokens: VOICE and MUTE. VOICE is the governance token, while MUTE is the gas that powers the ecosystem's growth. With VOICE, users can submit proposals or funding requests to improve the ecosystem. Additionally, VOICE holders benefit from 30 percent of revenue based on the repurchase and mint initiative.

In March 2021, NIX Bridge Token was renamed VOICE and became available to swap with the new ERC-20 token MUTE. The platform has a maximum supply of 44,613 VOICE tokens.
