What is Theta Network?
Theta Network is a decentralized software and digital network that aims to create a global computer network that operates as a video streaming platform and allows participants to own their own unique data. It was launched in 2017 and is similar to a modern content distribution network (CDN). CDNs are location-dependent systems that manage content distribution for games and other digital platforms.
According to Theta Network, traditional CDN models have limitations when it comes to handling high-quality streams, and Theta Network aims to address this issue by offering a decentralized network for video streaming.
