Polycat Finance (FISH) is a decentralized and sustainable hybrid yield optimizer built on the Polygon blockchain. With a focus on value creation and user needs, the platform aims to provide a comprehensive solution for all DeFi enthusiasts. One of its primary objectives is to enable auto-compounding for farms that do not support it, enhancing the performance of yield aggregators. Additionally, Polycat Finance plans to introduce new features such as a PAW lottery and a Stablecoin, further expanding its offerings.

By leveraging the capabilities of an automated market maker (AMM) platform, Polycat Finance facilitates decentralized cryptocurrency trading. AMM is a decentralized exchange protocol that operates based on an autonomous trading mechanism. It enables seamless swapping of tokens, resulting in lower fees and fostering partnerships to create a robust ecosystem. Through its yielding strategies, Polycat Finance ensures users can earn competitive rates on their crypto assets. By staking their preferred token pairs, users can earn PAW tokens and swap fees. The platform also prioritizes security by eliminating migrator functions to prevent rug pulls and conducting thorough code audits through multiple smart contract reviewers. Rug pulls refer to instances where a development team abruptly abandons a project after accumulating significant value, often associated with fraudulent DeFi or crypto projects.

Polycat Finance operates with two official tokens: FISH and PAW. Users can acquire PAW tokens by staking CAT-LP tokens. The PAW rewards harvested from the farms can be vested linearly over a period of thirty days, allowing users to enjoy the benefits of their investments gradually. Conversely, holders of the FISH token have the opportunity to participate in the platform's governance. They can propose and vote on changes, shaping the future direction and functionality of the ecosystem.

The journey of Polycat Finance began with its official launch in May 2021. The maximum supply of FISH tokens is set at 3,000,000, while the PAW token has an infinite supply. As outlined in the project's roadmap, the platform initially launched its website on April 30, 2021. Subsequently, during May and June 2021, farming, yield aggregation, and initial farm offerings (IFOs) were introduced. In the following quarter, Q3 2021, the platform launched an Automated Market Maker (AMM), initiated governance capabilities, and implemented a liquidity incentives program. Moving forward to Q4 2021, Polycat Finance focused on team expansion to enhance scalability and made significant advancements in its vault technology.
