Moss Coin (MOC) is a cryptocurrency based on the Ethereum blockchain (ERC-20) that serves as the in-game currency for the Mossland platform. Mossland is a unique gaming platform that blends the real and virtual worlds through Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to create practical use cases. The Mossland Metaverse is a digital realm that merges entertainment services and NFT assets with the economic circulation of Moss Coin.

According to the platform's whitepaper, the goal is to bring virtual assets to the marketplace for trading and auctioning. These assets will be represented by ERC-721 tokens, an open standard for creating unique tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. This allows users to store the value they've invested into their virtual assets and accessories within the Mossland platform.

Moss Coin is utilized in several exchanges and has a growing economy governed by three currencies: Gold, Gem, and Moss Coin. It is used to purchase virtual properties and accessories within the Mossland platform, and there are four ways to acquire it: through extra-game acquisition and exchange, in-game purchases, advertising engagement, and property sales.

In addition to its in-game services, Mossland also offers location-based services (LBS) through its peer-to-peer advertising platform, aimed at empowering local businesses to reach players and drive traffic to their physical locations.

The CEO and co-founder of Moss Coin is Wooram Son, and the platform was founded by Chester Roh, Minuk Kim, Yongjun Hong, and Sean Oh. The Mossland whitepaper was launched in 2018 and the total supply of Moss Coin is 500 million.

Mossland: The Auction is a service that allows users to trade virtual landmarks earned through participation in the auction. Transactions are conducted using Moss Coin.
