Metal (MTL) is a cryptocurrency token developed by Metallicus Inc for its Metal Pay platform, designed to make crypto transactions easy for consumers. Metal Pay aims to offer a user-friendly interface for trading and dealing with cryptocurrencies in real-time. The platform includes a specialized KYC identification marketplace to facilitate transactions in various cryptocurrencies. Metal Pay also utilizes Proof of Processed Payments (PoPP) consensus for transaction approval.

PoPP is a unique mechanism that verifies user identity before distributing currencies in a transaction. The platform plans to create 66,588,888 MTL tokens, with 31% reserved for the platform and the remaining available for distribution. Of the available MTL, 18% will be used for legal, 40% for development, and 15% for marketing. The platform will use 17% for operational purposes and keep 10% in reserve.

To ensure transparency, Metal Pay uses a two-of-three escrow mechanism, where two of the three members must approve raising operational funds. This process ensures secure token distributions and transactions, making the platform more user-friendly and efficient.
