MetaGameHub DAO (MGH DAO) is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that acts as a hub for open metaverse experiences. With the aim of populating and monetizing LANDs, building games on them, and creating unique experiences for communities around the globe, MGH DAO is dedicated to solving multiple problems faced by the NFT and metaverse space.

One of the main issues that MGH DAO solves is the lack of valuation methods for Metaverse LANDs. To address this, MGH DAO has developed a valuation algorithm that estimates the fair price of Metaverse LANDs. Additionally, MGH DAO offers a user-friendly interface to evaluate LANDs, making it easier for users to engage with the platform.

In addition to developing a valuation algorithm, MGH DAO creates state-of-the-art metaverse experiences in the form of community hubs, games, events, and more. These experiences provide users with unique opportunities to engage with the metaverse and participate in a community-driven ecosystem.

To further facilitate the development of the metaverse, MGH DAO has also created the dcl-editor, which makes building in Decentraland a breeze. With the help of this user-friendly tool, users can easily create and customize their own virtual spaces.

MGH DAO leverages Chainlink Oracle to push valuation data on-chain, providing users with accurate and reliable information about the value of their assets. This helps to ensure that users can make informed decisions about buying, selling, and trading assets on the platform.

MGH is the native utility token of MGH DAO, and it is used in a variety of ways within the ecosystem. Firstly, MGH is used as a medium of exchange for services within MGH's ecosystem. Additionally, it is used for staking linked to revenue-backed network rewards. Finally, MGH is used to participate in the governance of the MGH DAO.

The MGH token model is designed to be deflationary, with a long-term revenue-backed burning and staking model that rewards token holders and stakers. When a user pays for services and experiences using MGH, 40% of the token is burned, and 60% is distributed as staking rewards. When a user pays with other accepted currencies, 30% is distributed to the MGH treasury, and the rest is swapped for MGH tokens, creating buying pressure. These tokens are then burned and distributed as staking rewards.

MetaGameHub was initiated by Nicolas Weber, Camilo Echeverri, Lukas Philipp, and Phil Thomsen. The team came together at the beginning of 2021, looking for solutions to the inefficiencies of the NFT market. The initial idea of MGH was to collaboratively govern NFTs, but the core concept quickly evolved to a holistic ecosystem of on-chain NFT valuations, analytics, and governance.

Today, MGH DAO has over 15 active contributors and more than 10 advisors bringing their expertise ranging from finance to the art world. The team is spread across three different continents and is supported by an international community of users.
