MechaChain is an upcoming 3D TPS (third person shooter) game that offers players an opportunity to earn as they play. The game features gigantic and powerful robots known as Mechas, battling for control of a new mineral, Mechanium, discovered during an extraterrestrial mining campaign.

Mechanium is MechaChain's ecosystem cryptocurrency and a highly sought-after mineral with tremendous potential energy. It was discovered deep in the middle of some planet's crust and is used as the main resource for the Mechas' generators.

Each Mecha in the game is an assembly of NFT modules optimized for battles and Mechanium extraction. Mechas are massive superpowered machines that establish a symbiotic connection with their human pilots through the use of brain-computer interfaces.

The game is set in the year 2219, after the singularity was reached by two opposing artificial intelligences, Hêmérê and MR-GL-201. Hêmérê promotes the integrity of the human body and mind, while MR-GL-201 aims for the prosperity of humanity as a race. The two opposing superpowers led to the formation of Hêmérê's techno-democracy and MR-GL-201's algocracy.

Players can choose to be a Pure-gene or an Assimilee. Pure-genes are citizens of Hêmérê's techno-democracy and use Mechas with non-intrusive symbiosis during fights. Assimilees are transhumans who merge their body and mind with MR-GL-201, with a vision of expanding the human race throughout the universe. They are in constant symbiosis with the mother intelligence and their Mechas through the use of intrusive neural interfaces and implants, as well as hormonal and genetic treatments.

MechaLands are unique and supply-limited lands on the surface of the planets in the MechaChain universe. Owners of these lands, known as the elite, define the future beyond Earth and harvest the most precious resource: Mechanium ore. MechaLands is an ERC721 collection available on OpenSea and will be at the core of the mobile game economy.

MechaChain is powered by the Mean Protocol, which provides the foundations for developers to bring Traditional Finance workflows into their DeFi apps. Mean Protocol Money Streams allow for fully-liquid, capital-efficient, streamable TVL across protocols and act as an interoperability layer for the entire Solana Ecosystem.
