Dose Token (DOSE) is a digital currency designed to promote the fitness metaverse and encourage users to engage in physical activities. The token is part of the OliveX gamified fitness ecosystem, a unique platform that provides users with a space to interact and participate in fitness-related challenges.

DOSE is an ERC-20 fungible token that serves as the primary means of exchange within the OliveX ecosystem. The name DOSE is an acronym for the four chemicals released in the body during exercise: dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphin. The tokens can be earned by completing fitness challenges or workouts on the platform and can be used to purchase items, convert to NFTs, or unlock additional missions.

Initially, DOSE tokens will be offered on the Ethereum mainnet and then bridged to the Polygon layer-2 network, where games like Dustland Runners are available. Dustland Runners is a game that rewards users with virtual NFTs or DOSE tokens upon completion.

The distribution of DOSE tokens is split across the various games on the platform, with 20% of the tokens allocated as gameplay rewards and 15% and 10% each for individual games. The platform also reserves some of the tokens to support upcoming fitness metaverse projects.

DOSE token's whitepaper was first released in September 2021 and updated in December 2021. The platform has a ten-member team, including CEO Keith Rumjahn and Head of Group Operations Andy Hall. DOSE also boasts several advisors from various ventures, including Yat Siu of Animoca Brands and Dylan Boyd from R/GA Ventures.
